Prior to joining BB&T Capital Partners, Jonathan worked with Carousel Capital, a Charlotte, NC based private equity firm, where he invested equity capital and worked closely with the firm's portfolio companies. Prior to Carousel Capital, he worked for Bowles Hollowell Conner & Co. (BHC), an investment-banking firm specializing in middle-market mergers and acquisitions. Before BHC, Jonathan worked in New York for Chase Securities in their asset-backed securities and syndicated lending groups.

• BA in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
• MBA from The Darden Graduate School of Business Administration, where he received the William Michael Shermet Award
