Prior to joining BB&T Capital Partners, Brad worked in fund management at The Carlyle Group, a global alternative asset manager. During his tenure at Carlyle, Brad was responsible for fund operational compliance, investor relations and capital analysis with respect to Carlyle's European Growth private equity funds totaling €1.3 billion in committed capital. Before joining Carlyle, he worked in Ernst & Young's assurance practice where he focused on audit and control review for publicly traded asset managers and commercial finance companies.

• BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Public Policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
• Master of Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Kenan-Flagler School of Business
